Wassim has successfully established Data Management Offices (DMOs) from the ground up, leading efforts to define data policies, procedures, standards, and operating models. He guided clients through governance framework setup, capability assessments, and the formation of data ownership and stewardship functions, enabling sustainable enterprise data management.

Wassim led the creation of enterprise-wide Business Intelligence centers across multiple sectors in Riyadh, KSA. Over several years, he directed multi-disciplinary teams of data engineers and architects on multi-million SAR initiatives to transform reporting and decision-making capabilities through interactive dashboards, KPIs, and self-service analytics platforms.

With a strong foundation in machine learning and data science, Wassim has delivered end-to-end AI-driven solutions to support client transformation agendas. His engagements included use case identification, data preparation, model development, and business value realization through predictive analytics, NLP, and classification models across various domains.

Recognizing that governance ensures accountability, Wassim has spearheaded Data Governance programs for clients seeking to formalize data ownership, enforce compliance, and ensure adherence to local and regional regulations (e.g., NDMO, DGA). His experience covers governance frameworks, data stewardship models, and performance monitoring using fit-for-purpose KPIs.

Beyond strategy and governance, Wassim emphasizes the human aspect of data transformation. He has led data literacy and enablement programs, including customized trainings, change management workshops, and awareness campaigns aimed at building a strong data culture. These initiatives help organizations evolve into data-driven and data-native enterprises.
